My name is Yahosuah Yahudah but most people call me “Yoshi”. I was born in Hull, GA; I’m the youngest boy of two brothers and four sisters. From first grade to high school I never went to public school. My mom stopped working as a nurse to teach me and my siblings at home till I was seventeen. Then I attended Athens Technical College; not being sure of what I wanted to major in I majored in General Business.
I have been training Martial Arts since I was fourteen years old. I started at a place called Itto Martial Arts under a man named Tommy Lunsford. I went there every day and took everything he offered Tae Kwon Do, Aikido, Karate, Kickboxing, and Weapons. After competing in a Tae Kwon Do tournament held at Myrtle Beach in South Carolina I decided to give all of these arts a rest and take something more effective.
At the age of eighteen in the year 2000 I started training Muay Thai at a place called Pla Chalarm gym now known as Megalodon MMA gym in Athens Georgia under Arjan Scott Hicks who is world renowned for his in-depth understanding and ability to teach Muay Thai. As an amateur I had more than 37 fights and won five National titles in Muay Thai for the WKA, USMTA, and the ISKA. In 2002 I won the amateur Georgia Games and brought home the only gold medal for boxing out of a team of eight. In 2004 Arjan Hicks promoted me to Assistant Muay Thai Instructor at Megalodon Gym. Then in 2005 I won the WKA amateur Worlds in Niagara, New York, in the finals USA vs. Germany. Yoshi wins gold for the US!

After winning an amateur World Title I felt the need to find better competition. In January 2006 I moved to Bangkok, Thailand where I lived in the gym with the other fighters and trained two times a day, in the morning start at 6am finish at 9am then again in the evening start at 3pm and end at 6pm. I lived in Thailand for a period of three and a half years training with and fighting top world ranked Muay Thai fighters. While in Thailand I won Champion South Thailand title and two World Titles including W.P.M.F and had more than 23 fights all over The United States, Thailand, Russia, Cambodia, Malaysia, New Zealand, China, Indonesia, and Australia.
In 2007 while I was living in Bangkok I was invited to fight in the Governors cup in Russia for MMA.
Later in 2008 I volunteered as an English teacher for Thai high school kids, while fighting.
After returning to the States in 2009 I am an active Muay Thai fighter. Currently, offering private classes in Muay Thai, Women’s Boxing, and self-defense.
In 2011 Arjan Scott Hicks through Sit Quan Tong Muay Thai Association promoted me Yahosuah “Yoshi” Yahudah to Kru Suaan Muay “Full Muay Thai Instructor”.

Message from Kru Grice:

My name is Blake Grice and I live in Anderson, SC where I operate the HIT training center.  I graduated from The Citadel in may of 2000. My journey began in martial arts 12 years ago when I began taking Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. I wanted to fight, but knew I needed to learn how to fight while on my feet.  Through a google search, I discovered Megalodon Gym in Commerce, Ga where I met Arjan Scott Hicks, Kru Brian and Kru Yoshi.  That meeting changed my outlook on fighting and I have been involved with Megalodon Gym ever since. I had 10 fights over several years but learned my true passion was teaching others. I now run a gym full time and train several talented boxers and mma fighters. I am the head referee for Georgia and South Carolina and have refereed well over 1000 Thai boxing and MMA fights. I was recently honored to referee UFC 145 in Atlanta, Ga.  I am the state director of the US Muay Thai Association and also promote one of the only amateur Muay Thai shows in the country that allow "full rules". (all elbows and knees are allowed)  We are very honored to be a part of the Sit Quan Tong association and pledge to always keep up the standards set by Arjan Scott.
